الأوراق

Leaves : Basal leaves very long-petiolate, thin, rounded or cordate at base, with ovate to reniform outline and 5–11 broad, triangular teeth. Floral leaves very small, subsessile, oblong-lanceolate, acute, subentire.

Inflorescence & flowers : Branchlets with 1–3 flowers; peduncles very slender.، Calyx : Setaceous lobes spreading, about three times as long as the globular tube.، Corolla : Bright blue, obconic-campanulate, glabrous, divided almost to the base, about twice the length of the calyx.

Fruit : Spherical capsule, strongly ribbed.

Syrian distribution : Slenfé; Hermon (Lebanese or southern slopes).

Native range : Lebanon, southern Turkey, Mount Hermon
