الوصف النباتي

Sterile flowers : Very pale, whitish-yellow, numerous, very fine, reflexed and dense above the ring; fewer between the two rings.

Fertile zone : Pale-colored ring (white or grey), about 8 mm wide, followed by a slightly thicker, darker ring of purple-violet carpels surrounding the stigma.

Leaves : Petioles 2–3 times longer than the blade; uppermost petiole very broadly and extensively sheathing. Blade broad in the middle, with lobes not divaricate and only slightly divergent, reaching up to 15 × 8 cm.

Inflorescence & flowers : Peduncle equal to or longer than the petioles. Spathe narrow, elongated, long-acuminate, up to 20 cm long and barely 2 cm wide. Tube little dilated, nearly cylindrical, ca. 2 cm. Outer spathe greenish or violet; inner side dirty white to light violet. Spadix appendage not much thickened, almost reaching the spathe apex, long-stipitate.
