الأوراق

Leaves: Ovate-oblong, heart-shaped and stem-clasping at the base, with prominent veins and both translucent and black dots.

الأزهار

Inflorescence & flowers: Leafy, branching clusters form a nearly flat-topped inflorescence. The calyx is deeply divided into pointed, linear, entire, non-glandular sepals. The pale-yellow corolla is about twice as long as the calyx.

Fruit: Ovate capsule with a short point and short styles.

Syrian distribution: Homs, Hama, Doummar, Hame and Banias.

Native range: Albania, Algeria, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Corse, Czechia-Slovakia, Denmark, East Aegean Is., France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Iran, Iraq, Ireland, Italy, Kriti, Lebanon-Syria, Libya, Morocco, Netherlands, North Caucasus, NW. Balkan Pen., Palestine, Poland, Romania, Sardegna, Sicilia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Transcaucasus, Türkiye, Türkiye-in-Europe, Ukraine.

Introduced into: New Zealand North, New Zealand South, Tasmania.
