الأوراق

Leaves : Leaves very irregularly toothed or lobed; lower leaves gradually attenuate at the base into a petiole, dilated toward the apex into 2–3 indistinct lobes, often deeply and irregularly toothed along the margin; cauline leaves semi-amplexicaul and less divided.

Inflorescence & flowers : Capitula 2–3 cm wide, radiate and yellow; involucral bracts pale, unequal, ovate and obtuse, the inner bracts slightly scarious; ligules oblong.

Fruit : Achenes without a pappus crown; radial achenes as broad as long, triangular, compressed, with broader marginal ribs; disk achenes turbinate, with 10 equal ribs.
