الوصف النباتي

الأوراق

Leaves: Thin, ovate, somewhat pointed and heart-shaped at the base, with rounded teeth; reaching about 10 cm long.

الأزهار

Inflorescence & flowers: Distinct whorls of 4–6 flowers form a branched inflorescence. The green, sparsely hairy, slightly sticky calyx has spine-tipped teeth shorter than its tube. Flowers are whitish-pink, with an enclosed corolla tube and broad lower lip.

Endemic to Lebanon

Lebanese distribution: Saida, Nahr Aouali, Beirut, Pont du Pacha near Beirut, Antelias, Nahr el Kalb, Ras Chekka, Tripoli, Bhamdoun, Jamhour, Sir, Baskinta, Abey, Ain Zehalta, Ban, Kfertay and Bqaatouta.

Native range: Lebanon-Syria.
