Leaves: Linear-lanceolate, with rough margins.

Inflorescence & flowers: Small yellow flowers; lanceolate, shortly pointed sepals are 2–3 mm long and petals 5–6 mm. Lower fruiting stalks are thread-like and at least as long as the calyx.

Fruit: Small capsule equalling, rather than being overtopped by, the sepals.
