Leaves: Leaves with 9–10 pairs of lanceolate to narrowly linear leaflets; stipules half-hastate.

Inflorescence & flowers: Many-flowered, relatively loose racemes on stalks longer than the adjacent leaves. Flowers often pale blue-violet, 10–12 mm long. Calyx about one-third as long as the corolla, with teeth shorter than the tube. The blade of the standard is longer than its claw.

Fruit: Stalked pod, with its supporting stalk extending beyond the calyx.
