الأوراق

Leaves: Large basal leaves are divided two or three times into ovate, slightly heart-shaped, bluntly toothed segments. The highest leaves unite into a single ovate blade around the stem, with entire or scalloped-toothed margins.

Inflorescence & flowers: Umbels have fifteen to twenty rays and lack both an involucre and involucels.

Lebanese distribution: Sands of Nahr Beirut, above Aramoun, Raachine, Afqa, Hadeth cedars, Hasroun, Aqoura, Qozhaya, Wadi el Arayech, Zahle, Ibl es Saki, Hasbaya and Kfertay.

Syrian distribution: Jeble, north of Kessab, Babeska, El Arami in the Ghab, Ain Khadra and Wadi el Qarn.

Native range: Cyprus, Lebanon-Syria, Palestine, Türkiye.
