الوصف النباتي

الأوراق

Leaves: Spatulate to oblong-lanceolate, with 3–5 veins and rough margins.

الأزهار

Inflorescence & flowers: Forking inflorescence with solitary flowers at branch junctions and other, spaced, nearly sessile flowers. Linear sepals are about 1 cm long; pale-yellow petals about 2 cm.

الثمار والبذور

Fruit: Ovate, pointed capsule, far exceeded by the enlarging sepals.

Native range: Albania, Bulgaria, Cyprus, East Aegean Is., France, Greece, Iran, Iraq, Italy, Kriti, Krym, Lebanon-Syria, Libya, North Caucasus, NW. Balkan Pen., Palestine, Transcaucasus, Türkiye, Türkiye-in-Europe.
