الأوراق

Leaves: Tendril-bearing leaves with 8–10 pairs of linear or linear-oblong leaflets, blunt or pointed. Stipules lanceolate and half-arrow-shaped.

Inflorescence & flowers: Many-flowered racemes longer than the adjacent leaves. Calyx swollen at the base, with an oblique mouth, approximately one-third as long as the purple or violet corolla.

Fruit: Oblong-linear pod carried on a stalk longer than the calyx. Seeds spherical and blackish.
