الأوراق

دائم الخضرة، Leaves: Ovate to rounded, blunt and strongly veined; lower leaves on long stalks, the others shortly stalked.

الأزهار

Inflorescence & flowers: Long, one-sided cymes that become loose. Calyx woolly, shorter than the corolla tube, with blunt elliptic-linear lobes. Corolla tube silky outside and hairless inside; the limb equals the tube in length. Stigma almost stalkless, elongated-conical and hairy at the tip.

Fruit: Hairless nutlets with fine tubercles.

Native range: Egypt, Lebanon-Syria, Palestine, Sinai.
