Leaves : Basal leaves obovate; cauline leaves linear, obtuse.

Inflorescence & flowers : Fruit-bearing cymes long and loose.، Corolla : Blue (rarely white), with a hairy tube not exceeding the calyx.

Fruit : Nutlets small, short, ovoid-acute, tuberculate with shallow pits and slightly hispid. Pedicels at fruiting stage thickened and obconic.
