Leaves : Basal and lower stem leaves oblong, entire, tapering into a petiole; upper leaves narrowly linear.

Inflorescence & flowers : Capitula globose, slightly more than 1 cm across, long-pedunculate.، Flowers : Pale yellow to whitish-yellow.، Bracts : Involucral bracts and receptacle scales tomentose; lower ones muticous, upper ones briefly acuminate.، Involucel : Quadrangular, short, hirsute; with 4 main lanceolate-ciliate teeth equal to the body of the involucel, and 4 intermediate teeth 3–4× shorter.
